This policy explains how Augment Innovation LLC, based in Phoenix, Arizona, collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information through this website. For this website, Augment Innovation is the organization responsible for deciding why and how personal information is processed.
This policy describes the website as it operates on the date above. It does not govern a client's own cloud, AI account, files, or business systems. A signed client agreement and, where appropriate, a data processing agreement govern information handled during a Workspace Assistant installation, Company System build, or other consulting engagement.
At a glance
- Workspace Assistant does not require customer accounts. No advertising trackers, analytics tools or marketing pixels are installed.
- We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- The call-request and partner-application forms collect contact and professional details. When email delivery is enabled they are delivered to our inbox through Resend; until then they are only written to application logs.
- Buying the Workspace Assistant or paying for a consultation, when checkout is enabled, happens on a checkout page hosted by Stripe. Payment details go to Stripe, not to this website.
- The booking calendar, when scheduling is enabled, is served by Calendly and loads only after you choose to open it. Until then nothing is sent to Calendly. A consultation is booked there first and paid through Stripe straight afterwards.
- The website is hosted on Vercel, whose systems process the request logs any web host needs to serve and protect a site.
- The budget calculator runs in your browser. Its inputs and results are not submitted to us while you use it; the one exception is that choosing to buy the Workspace Assistant from that page sends the headcount you set as the order's seat count.
- Account sign-in uses essential HttpOnly session cookies. A consent preference is stored in local storage. Stripe and Calendly set their own cookies on the pages they serve.
Information you provide
The consultation inquiry form asks for your first and last name, work email, and company. Your role, which offering you are considering, and the message describing what you want to discuss are optional. The partner-application form on the partners page asks for your name, email, platform, audience-size band, and a link to your profile or channel, with an optional note about your audience. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and any other information you choose to include.
Stripe hosts checkout and collects your payment and billing details, email address and purchased seat count. The website checks payment status with Stripe and uses the email address in memory to send your downloadable setup. It does not maintain a separate Workspace Assistant customer-account or license-assignment database. An encrypted delivery link and email-delivery timestamp are stored with the transaction in Stripe so delivery can be retried.
If you buy more than one seat you may optionally enter an email address for each seat. We store those addresses with the transaction in Stripe and use them only to send that person their own download link for that order. We do not use them for marketing, we do not add them to a mailing list, and we do not build a customer record from them. You are responsible for having a proper basis to give us a colleague's address; if you would rather not, leave the fields blank and every link comes to you. Anyone emailed this way can ask us to delete their address using the contact details below.
Resend processes the purchase email and its download links. When you use the cancel page, we look the address you enter up in Stripe and, only if it holds a support plan, email it a one hour cancel link through Resend; we do not store the address. Supabase Storage holds the clean downloadable setup releases; it is not used for customer sign-in in this flow. LICENSE.txt is generated during download with an opaque purchase reference and seat count. It contains no email address or Stripe ID, and the generated copy is not saved in a customer-file cache.
Download links contain an encrypted order reference and expiry, work for 90 days, and can be reused without signing in. Anyone with a link can use it, so keep it private. We recheck payment, refunds and disputes with Stripe before delivering a file. Application rate limits temporarily process a request IP address and an opaque purchase key. Hosting and email providers may retain request and delivery logs under their own settings. This minimizes our website records; it does not eliminate processing by us or our service providers.
When scheduling is enabled and you book a consultation through the Calendly calendar, Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you choose, and any notes you add, under its own privacy notice, and makes the booking details available to us so we can hold the call. Once Calendly confirms the booking, the page opens a Stripe checkout for the consultation fee. So that a payment can be matched to its booking, the payment record includes Calendly's reference for the booked time and, if you arrived from the inquiry form, the company name you entered there. Card details go to Stripe, never to us. Live-session registration is different: there, Calendly collects the session fee inside its own booking flow through its payment integration.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, health information, financial account data, confidential client records, or other sensitive information through the public form or ordinary email. The form is for an initial business inquiry only; card details belong only on the Stripe checkout page.
Information collected automatically
When a browser requests a page or submits the form, the systems that deliver and protect the website may create standard request and security logs. Depending on the hosting configuration, these can include an IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring page, browser or user agent, response status, and security or error events. We use this information to deliver the site, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect the service. The application also keeps a short-lived count of requests per network address, in memory only, to limit abuse of its form and checkout endpoints; the count is not written to storage.
Browser storage, cookies, and tracking
Workspace Assistant purchases and downloads do not require a website login cookie. The application stores one preference record in your browser's local storage under the key "augment.cookie-consent.v1". That record contains your analytics and marketing choices and the time you made them. It remains on your device, is not sent to our server by the application, and can be changed from the footer or removed by clearing site data. Separately, if you submit the inquiry form while scheduling is enabled, the company name you entered is held briefly in your browser's session storage so the booking page can attach it to the payment record; it is read once there and removed, and it is never placed in a web address.
Our private marketing workspace uses an essential administrator session cookie that expires after eight hours. Campaign plans and manually entered aggregate reports are stored in the authorized operator's browser and can be exported or removed there. The workspace does not send these records to advertising platforms or install visitor tracking.
Two third-party surfaces set their own cookies, each only when you use it: the Stripe checkout page sets the cookies Stripe needs to run a secure payment, and the Calendly booking calendar sets Calendly's cookies once you choose to open it. Neither loads before that, and Calendly shows its own cookie notice inside the calendar where the law requires one.
Selecting analytics or marketing does not currently turn on any such tool because none is installed. If we add one, we will identify it, update this policy, and obtain any consent required before it begins. Our font files, images, and video are served with the website rather than loaded by your browser from an advertising or font-tracking network; the only third-party content the site can load is the Calendly calendar, and only after you open it.
Because the application does not track people across third-party sites, its behavior does not change in response to legacy Do Not Track signals. Global Privacy Control and similar opt-out signals do not need to disable a sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity because we do not perform those activities. We will reassess both disclosures before adding any tracking technology.
The calculator
The budget calculator uses values such as team size, hourly cost, data fragmentation, repetitive-work share, and selected implementation tier to calculate an estimate in your browser. While you use it, the application does not send those values or results to us, store them in browser storage, or use them to profile you or make a decision about you. If you choose to buy the Workspace Assistant directly from that page when checkout is enabled, the team size you set is sent as the order's seat count and appears in the Stripe payment record; the other inputs and the estimate itself are never sent.
How we use information and our reasons
- To receive and respond to an inquiry or a partner application and take steps you request before a possible contract.
- To take and fulfill a Workspace Assistant order, including payment processing by Stripe, the receipt, per-person licenses and emailed download links, as performance of the contract you enter at checkout.
- To schedule and hold a consultation you book through the calendar, and to collect its fee through Stripe, as performance of that booking.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the website based on our legitimate interest in running a safe business service.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of law based on our legitimate interests and legal obligations.
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, keep records required by law, and comply with lawful requests.
- To record the privacy choice you make on your own device. No optional analytics or marketing processing occurs today.
We do not use website information for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not add a person to a marketing list merely because they submitted an inquiry. If we later offer marketing email, it will use a separate sign-up and include a way to unsubscribe.
Who receives information
The categories of recipients for current website information are the hosting provider Vercel, Stripe, Supabase, Resend, Calendly when you choose to book, and people at Augment Innovation who need access to operate the site or respond to an inquiry. Vercel processes request logs and application output under its own infrastructure and our service arrangement.
When you buy the Workspace Assistant, Stripe receives the payment and billing details it needs to process the charge, acting as an independent payment processor under its own notice. When you book a call, Calendly receives the booking details as our scheduling provider. Neither receives anything from a visit that does not use it.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers bound by duties of confidentiality, to authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety, or to a buyer or successor in connection with a genuine financing, merger, reorganisation, or sale. We do not disclose it to data brokers or advertising networks.
Supabase Storage holds private downloadable setup files. Resend processes the recipient email address, email content and delivery information. Stripe retains payment records and the delivery state associated with the purchase. These services have their own retention and security controls. We remain responsible for how we use them; we do not claim that outsourced processing removes all responsibilities for customer information.
Payment, scheduling, and planned providers
Vercel hosts the website. Stripe is our online payment provider: when checkout is enabled, it hosts the checkout page and processes payment for the Workspace Assistant and the consultation, as described above. Calendly is our scheduling provider: the booking calendar, where shown, is loaded from calendly.com only after you choose to open it, and once opened it reports the completed booking to the page so checkout can follow. Resend is our email-delivery provider: when email delivery is enabled, inquiry and partner-application submissions and order alerts, carrying the buyer's name, email, what was bought, and the amount, are transmitted through Resend to our own inbox as messages to us, and, when automated delivery is enabled, the delivery email itself is sent through Resend to the buyer's address. Resend processes all of these as our service provider. We still plan to add a video-conferencing service for live sessions; it is not connected to the current application, and we will name it and publish the relevant categories of information, purposes, recipients, and retention terms before that data flow begins. The current website does not collect live-session registrations; when session registration opens, it will run on Calendly under the same click-to-load approach described above, with payment collected inside Calendly's booking flow.
External links and customer-controlled services
The founders page links to LinkedIn. If you follow an external link, your browser contacts that service and its privacy notice applies. We do not embed LinkedIn tracking on this site.
Workspace Assistant runs through an AI application and account controlled by the customer, such as Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's ChatGPT. Company System is described as running in the customer's Microsoft Azure environment and may connect to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, with Postgres, pgvector, and locally operated Ollama components. Those product environments are not part of this marketing website. The customer's contracts and the signed Augment Innovation engagement documents determine the parties' privacy and security responsibilities there.
Retention
Until email delivery is enabled, inquiry and partner-application submissions exist only in application logs and remain there until those logs rotate or are deleted; once it is enabled, each submission is also delivered to our inbox as described above and follows the correspondence retention below. We may preserve a relevant record longer if reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. The application does not copy submissions into a customer database or marketing list.
Direct inquiry correspondence that does not become a client engagement is ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is reasonably needed for a legal obligation or claim. Client, transaction, tax, and accounting records are retained under the applicable signed agreement and legal recordkeeping periods. Order and payment records from Stripe checkout are retained in our Stripe account and accounting records for the periods tax and accounting law require. A completed order also produces an alert email in our inbox and an entry in application logs, which follow the correspondence retention and log rotation described above. Booking details live in our Calendly account and calendar and follow the inquiry retention above. A local-storage preference remains on your device until you replace it or clear it.
Security
We use safeguards appropriate to the limited information this website handles, including production transport encryption, restricted administrative access, data minimization, dependency maintenance, and service-provider access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.
United States processing
Augment Innovation is based in the United States. Website information is processed in the United States and may be processed wherever our hosting provider operates. Privacy laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live. Where a law that applies to us requires a recognized transfer safeguard, we will use an appropriate contractual or other lawful mechanism.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, provide a copy, correct it, or delete it. You may also object to or ask us to restrict a use, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, or request a portable copy where applicable. We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns you. We may retain or withhold information where the law permits, including to protect another person, preserve security, or meet a legal obligation. We will explain any denial and any available appeal.
Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to us, you may have rights to know the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information; to access, correct, delete, or obtain it; to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. There is currently no sale, sharing for behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling to opt out of.
If European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, you may also complain to the supervisory authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. Contact us first if you are willing, so we have an opportunity to address the issue.
California notice
During the preceding twelve months, to the extent the website received visits or submissions, the categories collected were identifiers and professional information that people submitted, and internet or electronic-network activity information produced through requests and logs. Once checkout or booking is enabled and used, the categories also include commercial information: records of products bought and bookings made, with card numbers staying at Stripe. The sources, purposes, recipients, and retention criteria are described above. We did not sell or share those categories for cross-context behavioral advertising and did not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. We did not collect sensitive personal information through the intended operation of the site. California residents may use the contact below to request review or correction of information they provided.
Children
This is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it. A person must be at least 18 to place an order or enter an agreement through the site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website, providers, or law changes. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. Before using information for a materially different purpose, we will provide any additional notice or choice required by law. An earlier version remains available on request where reasonably practicable.
